On October 1st, the M511 Project officially kicked off. This project is the first cluster for digital entertainment experiences in China. The project's highlight, the M511 Future Cinema, simultaneously commenced operations. This new type of cinema, blending technology and art and leading the future trend of movie watching, unveiled its customized 4K tri-fold immersive LED cinema screen manufactured by QSTECH, casting a bright star in the film industry.
The M511 Future Cinema is a comprehensive commercial and artistic complex themed around movies, encompassing smart theaters, digital entertainment scenarios, and supporting commercial spaces. Selected as part of Zhejiang Province’s “600 Billion RMB” industrial investment projects and the “Cultural Zhejiang” top ten construction projects, it aims to merge the core elements of digital, culture, art, and entertainment. It innovates a new urban cultural space focused on "high-quality content production + intelligent scene creation + compound experience economy." Equipped with the most advanced projection equipment, this cinema is dedicated to providing audiences with an exceptional audiovisual experience and a comfortable viewing environment. QSTECH, with its excellent technical prowess and rich experience in the LED display field, always provides high-quality display products and innovative solutions. The LED cinema screen created for the M511 Future Cinema exemplifies QSTECH’s technical expertise in cinema equipment.
QSTECH’s tri-fold immersive LED cinema screen consists of three sections. The central main screen boasts 4K resolution and measures 10.56 meters x 5.4 meters, with the two side screens each measuring 3.84 meters x 5.4 meters. The entire screen totals a width of 18.24 meters and an area of nearly 100 square meters, driven by three Dolby servers for decoding. The design features angled side screens, providing a new viewing experience and a broad visual impact. The picture is delicate and clear, making every detail seem almost touchable. As the movie starts, the grand scenes and vivid characters displayed on the main screen draw audiences into the story, while the seamless integration with the side screens expands the visual range and creates a more immersive and striking visual effect, delivering a visual feast to the audience.
The LED cinema screen has obtained international DCI certification and certification from China's film research and testing institutions. It boasts a DCI-P3 display color gamut, offering rich and realistic colors. Whether showcasing magnificent natural landscapes or fantastical special effects, the colors are presented in their truest form. Additionally, it supports 48-300 nits brightness, ensuring that images retain rich details, color saturation, and contrast in any lighting condition. The tri-fold screen can easily achieve split-screen functionality, bringing more possibilities to film projection. High-frame-rate movie projection and glasses-free 3D effects make viewers feel like they are "breaking" through the screen and "entering" the picture, immersing them in every flowing story of the screen. Whether it’s intense action scenes or heartfelt emotional exchanges, everything is presented to the audience in a more impactful manner.
The sound and lighting systems at the M511 Future Cinema are equally outstanding. It utilizes superior LED computer lights and stage lights, providing a comprehensive and three-dimensional distribution to meet multi-scene lighting needs to the fullest extent. The sound system, based on a 7.1 channel setup, achieves full-range coverage and delicate sound performance through the meticulous arrangement and control of 26 independent channels.
QSTECH’s LED cinema screen also provides robust support for the diversified operations of the cinema. Its multi-screen, high-definition, and high-brightness features allow the cinema to host various events such as star meet-and-greets, film screenings, IP-themed marketing, brand launches, stand-up comedy, concerts, and e-sports events. This creates a diverse application space and a new operational model, assisting the cinema in comprehensive transformation and upgrading.
