Thank you for choosing the LedConfig! LedConfig is an efficient tool to connect and control LED device, whereby you can adjust the lightness, voice volume of the LED device and use the screen mirroring and split-screen displaying function wirelessly. We may collect and use your personal data when you use the LedConfig to control the LED device. The personal data you assented to provide is used by the data controller, QSTECH Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “QSTECH” or “We”), domiciled in 7 Biyuan 2nd Road, Hi-Tech Zone, Xi'an, 710118, China, for the sake of providing quality screen control and screen mirroring services. Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.


In this Privacy Policy, we will explain to you about the purposes, method and scope of the collection and use of your personal data by us, your rights to your personal data, and the security measures we take to protect your information.


Before using the LedConfig, please read this Privacy Policy carefully to learn our practices to protect customer’s personal data. We collect personal data for more efficient operation and to provide you with best usage experience. Our channels to collect personal data include: (1) information directly provided by you to us; (2) information we obtain when you use the LedConfig;

1. The information we collect depends on the feature you actually use, the environment in which you interact with us, the choices you make.

(1) We may collect and store your location information when pairing your device with the LED device.

(2) We may collect and store the QR code popped up by the LED device screen sharing software which you scanned when using the screen mirroring function, for the avoidance of duplicate scanning. In no event shall we collect or store such information unless you explicitly grant permission for us to access your cameras and albums.

(3) After turning on the permission, you can turn it off at any time from 【Settings - LedConfig - camera】 through the App. After the permission is turned off, the corresponding product functions may not work normally.

(4) We may collect and store the APK when you update the OTA for the sake of upgradation and installment.

(5) When you use 【Specific Functions】, we need to collect your/you may need to provide us with 【Personal Data Fields】. We may collect the above information in order to 【Purpose】.

(6) We will use your personal data in strict accordance with the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and your personal data will only be used for the purposes identified, described, and authorized by you at the time of collection. We will acquire your separate consent in advance if the information is to be used for any purpose that is not specified in this Privacy Policy. We will acquire your separate consent in advance when the information collected for a specific purpose is to be used for other purposes. We promise that we would not to deploy device permissions or use personal data collected through the deployment of device permissions in scenarios to which you have not given your authorization and consent. Without consent of users, we will not provide third parties with users’ personal data.

III. How We Retain Your Personal Data

The retention period for personal data is the minimum time necessary to achieve the collection purposes, except the law requires a longer period. We will delete or anonymize personal data beyond the above retention period.

If we cease to operate LedConfig for special reasons, we will promptly inform you and stop the collection and processing of relevant personal data, and we will delete or anonymize the personal data we hold that is related to the LedConfig, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations.

(1) Affiliates: In order to provide you with services based on the LedConfig, we may share your personal data with our affiliates.If we or our affiliates change the use and processing purpose of personal data, we will ask for your authorization again.

(2) Sharing with Authorized Partners: Some of our services will be provided by our authorized partners solely for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. We may share some of your personal data with our partners to provide services and to improve user experience.

We will only share or transfer your personal data for lawful, legitimate, necessary, specific, and express purposes, and will only share personal data that is necessary for the service. Meanwhile, we will require the above-mentioned third parties to take appropriate confidentiality and security measures to process personal data through agreements or other appropriate means.

You are entitled to request us to restrict processing of your personal data. This means we can store your personal data but cannot process it. We only retain data needed for future response. You may change the scope of your authorization to us to continue collecting personal data, or withdraw your authorization by deleting information, disabling device permission settings, etc. To be specific:

(1) You may turn off the location permission via 【Settings - LedConfig - location information】, in order to withdraw your consent for us to deploy the relevant device permissions and to collect the location information based on your relevant device permissions.

(2) You may turn off the camera/album permission via 【Settings - LedConfig - camera】, in order to withdraw your consent for us to deploy the relevant device permissions and to collect the QR code based on your relevant device permissions.

If you withdraw your consent, we will no longer be able to provide you with the corresponding service for which you have withdrawn your consent. Once you have withdrawn your consent, we will no longer process the corresponding personal data. But your decision to withdraw your consent will not affect the processing of personal data based on your previous consent prior to the withdrawal.

9. Right to Complain

You have the right to contact us and file service complaints in the manner disclosed in this Privacy Policy. If you are dissatisfied with our response, especially if our handling of personal data damages your legal rights, you can also file a complaint or report to the regulatory authorities or file a lawsuit in a court with jurisdiction.

Please note that, due to security reasons, we may verify your identity before processing your request. In principle, we do not charge any fees if your request is reasonable. However, based on the actual situation, we may impose a certain fee to cover our costs for repeated requests or requests that extend reasonable limits. We may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing an existing practice), may be detrimental to the legal rights and interests of others, or are very impractical. We will respond and reply to you as soon as possible. Generally, we will reply to you within one month upon receipt of your request (if necessary, we may extend it by an additional two months as permitted by law. We will inform you the reason for the extension within the aforementioned 30-day period, such as the request is too complicated or too much in volume). If you are not satisfied with the response you received, you can refer the complaint to the relevant regulatory authority in your jurisdiction.

VII. How We Process Children’s Personal Data

Pursuant to the relevant laws and regulations, if you are a child under the age of 16, before using the relevant products or services, you shall obtain consent from your parents or legal guardians. If you are the child’s guardian, you should read this Policy carefully before you assist the child on using the LedConfig.

Most of our services do not target children under the age of 16. For these services, we do not actively collect, store, use, transfer, or disclose the personal data of children under the age of 16 through the Internet or other manners. If you are a child under the age of 16, a parent or legal guardian of a child, or if you otherwise find out that we collect, store or use information that may include personal data of children under the age of 16, you may contact us promptly in the manner disclosed in this Policy and we will take steps to delete the relevant data as soon as possible.

Our websites, mobile applications may contain links to third-party websites, products, and services. You can choose whether to visit or accept websites, products, and services offered by third parties.

IX. How Your Personal Data Is Transferred Globally

As a company headquartered in China and based on global operations, we will provide products or services through resources and servers all over the world, which means upon obtaining your authorization and consent, your personal data may be transferred to or accessed from the overseas jurisdictions of the countries where you use the products or services. The types of data that may need to be transmitted overseas include the data listed in the section "How We Collect and Use Your Personal Data ".

In order to analyze the performance of the products and services and improve functionality, the personal data collected and generated during the global use of products may be transmitted to China and stored in a third-party cloud server in China. We will take corresponding protective measures according to the requirements of applicable laws to ensure data security.

If personal data collected and generated in the European Economic Area is transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area, we will ensure that proper protective measures are taken to comply with General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). For example:
